Apprenticeship Benefits
Registered Apprenticeships let you earn wages during training through paid on-the-job learning. You receive industry-recognized credentials upon completion that are portable and nationally recognized. Experienced professionals provide structured instructor support throughout the program. Apprenticeship tuition is self-pay only, and the apprenticeship creates a direct pathway to full-time employment with the training employer.

Barber Apprenticeship
Supervised host-shop work is scheduled according to the employment/placement agreement. 260 verified RTI hours and all 14 registered competencies are required; state licensing-hour records are tracked separately.
Cosmetology Apprenticeship
Full-time, Mon–Sat (varies by salon)
Esthetician Apprenticeship Pathway
Competency-based progression through 20 Appendix A competencies, with 300 required related-instruction hours and supervised host-site practice.
Nail Technician Apprenticeship
Competency-based progression through 19 Appendix A competencies, with 210 required RTI hours and supervised host-site practice. Work hours are documented as training evidence rather than used as a fixed completion denominator.

How do I pay for apprenticeship training?
Apprenticeship programs are self-pay only. Review the published total tuition, deposit, supplies, and what is due now. Pay in full or use a program payment plan when offered. BNPL, when displayed, is third-party financing requiring provider approval and repayment; review interest and terms. It is not a grant.
